A few years ago Castelli set up the 'Fast Feet - Project' in collaboration with Team Sky. The goal was to develop materials with good aerodynamic properties and thus improve the performance of the Sky riders. The Castelli Fast Feet TT overshoes are one of the fruits that have been gained from this collaboration.
Everything about this shoe has been developed to reduce drag. The deck is coated with silicone and above the ankle the shoe consists of Lycra with aerodynamic grooves. In addition, the shoe is high up in the calf, which further promotes aerodynamics. The upper side of the shoe fits nicely thanks to the polyurethane tape that keeps this shoe in place.
In short, this shoe is the shoe for cyclists who want to go faster. The shoe is designed for time trials, but also during regular road rides this shoe will certainly improve performance!
