Vittoria Rubino Pro Endurance G2 Road Bike Tyre

The Vittoria Rubino Pro G2 is the the Rubino series ideal road bike tyre for riders who spend many kilometres in the saddle a year. The Rubino Pro G2 guarantees maximum puncture protection and the highest durability.

The Pro Endurance G2 tyre is fitted with a thick rubber armour on the tread and flanks. This rubber armour reduces the risk of punctures and increases the tyre's durability. A subcutaneous puncture protection layer minimises the risk of a puncture. The Pro Endurance G2 is also known as the Vittoria Rubino series road bike tyre with the best puncture protection.

Like other road bike tyres in the Rubino series, the Pro Endurance is made up of three different compounds. The use of multiple compounds creates an ideal balance between rolling resistance, grip and durability. These compounds are based on Vittoria's graphene 2.0 compounds. With these second generation compounds, Vittoria can optimally adapt the rubber composition to the circumstances. This results in a tyre that you can rely on for many kilometres.

Technology

For some years now, Vittoria has been making extensive use of the wonder material: graphene in the production of its tyres. In 2019, Vittoria introduced the second generation of compounds: the Graphene 2.0 compound. In the graphene 2.0 compounds, Vittoria uses 'functionalised graphene'. This means that graphene is processed in different quantities in the compound. The amount of graphene in the compound can vary between 1 and 10 percent. This allows the rubber composition to be adapted as needed. In this way, Vittoria is able to take the tyre's performance to a higher level in terms of speed, wet grip, durability and puncture resistance .
