The Vittoria Corsa G2 Tube is one of the fastest tubular tyres available at the moment. The Corsa G2 Tube is an all-rounder and a specialist in dry and wet conditions. The Vittoria Corsa G2 Tube is equipped with the Grafeen 2.0 compound. With this compound, Vittoria is able to combine 4 different compounds in one tire. This creates a perfect balance between rolling resistance, grip, braking performance, durability and puncture resistance. The specific compounds are applied where they are at their best. For example, the Corsa G2 Tube has a harder compound at the centre of the tread for low rolling resistance, and a softer compound on the flanks for a very high grip in bends. To date, Vittoria is the only racing tyre manufacturer to use 4 different compounds in one tyre.

Technology

For some years now, Vittoria has been making extensive use of the wonderful material called graphene in the production of its tyres. In 2019, Vittoria will introduce the second generation of compounds, the Graphene 2.0 compound. In the graphene 2.0 compounds, Vittoria uses 'functionalised graphene'. This means that graphene is processed in differing proportions in the compound. The amount of graphene in the compound can vary between 1 and 10 percent. This allows the rubber composition to be adapted to the circumstances. In this way, Vittoria is able to take the tyre's performance to a higher level in terms of speed, wet grip, durability and puncture resistance.
