Description
The SRAM RED XPLR eTap AXS is the ultimate rear derailleur for endless gravel fun. This powerful and robust derailleur is optimised for gravel riding and can now handle a cassette with up to 44 teeth! This large maximum range offers the optimal resistance from 44 teeth for the steepest hills to 10 teeth for fast descents. As with the components of the other products in the RED range, SRAM also equiped the RED XPLR eTAP AXS with the liquid-cushioned Orbit chain guide and X-Sync shifters with ceramic bearings. They keep performance high and weight low. In addition, the eTap AXS technology ensures fast, smooth and intuitive shifting. The derailleur can be connected to a smartphone app, allowing you to set up your shifting system just the way you want it!
This SRAM Red XPLR eTap AXS Rear Derailleur is compatible with all SRAM Red AXS parts. You can use it with SRAM Red shifters, Force shifters or SRAM Eagle MTB shifter. This gives you endless possibilities for personalisation and you can tailor your bike to suit your needs.
No clattering of the chain thanks to the fluid clutch
This SRAM Red XPLR eTap AXS rear derailleur is equipped with a fluid clutch. Thanks to the fluid clutch, chain tension is always optimal so it doesn't rattle on bad roads, cobblestones or gravel. This prevents irritation and damage to your bike, but it also ensures that your chain stays on the front sprocket.
Ceramic derailleur wheels
This SRAM Red XPLR eTap AXS rear derailleur is equipped with ceramic derailleur wheels. This lowers resistance in your drivetrain so that as much of your energy as possible is converted into speed. This resistance is further reduced by enlarging the size of the derailleur wheels, so the chain makes fewer sharp turns.
This SRAM Red eTap AXS rear derailleur is compatible with 1x and 2x 12-Speed drivetrains. The clutch keeps the chain on tension and prevents it from rattling. This prevents the chain from falling off the front sprocket.
