Is this one worthy of the tubeless label?

- Harold, 9 October, 2023

I fitted these and rode 50km 1 time, they were discharging before the ride, but very slowly. Now 1 day after the ride, I see sealent leaking along the sides. Wondering if this will still stop itself.

Pros & Cons

good grip
is this even tubeless?
leaks sealant along the sides
expensive

First impression: versatile all-rounder

- Luc, 7 February, 2022

First trip on track, gravel, single track gives the tyre a very solid, confident impression. Only need 1 tyre for many terrains! Fitting was fine especially if the rims are lapped a bit beforehand! Tyres slap once inflated and grip the rim well. Colour suits my steel "old fashion" steed just fine. Use inner tube so no problems with loosening tension as reported with Tubeless... Back fast delivery at competitive price by Mantel.

Ideal on rougher terrain, but best ridden with inner tube.

- David, 22 July, 2021

Looks good and can definitely handle rough terrain, but when fitted tubeless it loses pressure quite quickly (no problem during a ride, but after a day or 2 the pressure seems to be fiercely reduced).

Pros & Cons

easy to fit
good profile for rough surfaces
loses pressure fairly quickly after tubeless mounting
measures slightly wider than indicated

faster than expected, good in the drab

- Tijmen, 2 January, 2021

On wet asphalt, it is really more watchful in corners than my previous tyre, Schwalbe G-one all-round 38mm. Notice from 30-35 km/h that I really have a wider tyre on the road, otherwise a fast tyre. With the schwalbe this was around 35/40. So at continuous pace, you hardly notice any difference. However, the rougher the terrain, the better this tyre comes out. Been great this autumn and winter, lots of grip in mud and wet sand! Practically does not fill up.

Pros & Cons

good in mud
good in wet dirt
unpredictable in bends on wet asphalt

Fine on the road but comes into its own on loose terrain.

- Tom, 30 November, 2020

Swapped a pair of Vee Speedsters for these as was struggling for grip on the looser stuff. Surprisingly they were better on the road and performed even better on the gravel and local muddy trails than I'd hoped. Would definitely recommend as an all rounder if you're not a racing snake on the roads and never know what terrain you'll hit next!

Pros & Cons

Cornering
Grip
Looks awesome
Rolls well
Better tyres out there if you mainly ride on tarma
Tight fit

Great bit of kit.

- Paul, 18 November, 2020

Fitted to my cross bike for extra comfort but enough grip on grass/mud/slushy stuff. Have used off road round Lancashire hills really like it and haven't found rolling resistance to be a problem compared to the Challenge 32mm fitted previously. Very pleased with it. Oh and they look nice as well. On Mavic Aksium One disc rims so running with tubes at present. If the Mavics ever wear out I'll go tubeless with them. Now all I need is a 36mm version to fit in the back

Pros & Cons

Comfort
Fit true to size
Good rolling resistance
Grip in wet
Only one size- a 36mm size would be good

Tyre for all surfaces and conditions.

- Eben, 21 August, 2020

Easy to fit, supple, and roll beautifully. A bit of road buzz on tarmac but come into their own on anything unsealed. Covers wide range of conditions.

Pros & Cons

Looks
Tread
Wide range of conditions
Loose can make setting up tubeless tricky
