I’m so disappointed. During my first ride with new tyres I got two punctures. I had a huge problem getting back home.

I had already mounted these tires on my wife's road bike and liked them so much that I have now bought the same ones for myself! First impression is ok, they 'bulge' a little less but as long as we don't have a flat this is not a problem at all

I have now cycled over 900 km with the Rubino Pro Control on smooth asphalt, bad asphalt, cobblestone roads, light gravel roads and zero punctures. So the quality is fine. Compared to the first generation Rubino with graphene, which I rode for a couple of years, you do lose a little on rolling resistance. On the other hand, the Pro Control has better puncture protection and that is also worth something.

I chose the Rubino Control because of its durability and excellent puncture resistance. The first impression is good. Putting it on the rim was easy. The tire rides pleasantly, rolls smoothly and makes a solid impression. The grip is excellent, allowing me to steer into corners with great confidence. I had already noticed this with the regular Rubino. Compliments to Mantel for the clear website and fast delivery. Top!

Eerste montage gaat vlot. Vooral gekozen voor lekbestendigheid maar bolt voor mij goed (woon-werkverkeer).

Great tire for not too much money. Good grip, not too high rolling resistance and very easy to put on the rim (completely without tire levers). I can't comment on the durability yet. After problems with the Vittoria Zaffiro tire, Mantel again provided excellent service. Kudos to this top shop!!!!!

Ridden 700km with it as a rear tire, front tire is the regular Rubino pro. The extra rubber layer protects well and yet the tire still rides smoothly. Grip even below zero fine. My 28mm tire came in at 335gr, but you don't really notice the weight compared to a lighter tire when accelerating. You won't win races with it, but the rolling resistance is not too bad, equal to a standard Rubino pro.

This tire is very good for winter use. Have this Vittoria as a rear tire, and a lighter rolling Continental Grand Prix as a front tire. I did this because the rear tire has the most pressure on it, so it has to endure the most. Wet roads, gravel, stones on the road, this Vittoria can take it all. This tire also has a lot of grip. Yes, the tire does run a bit heavier, but we all do that in winter.

Easy to fit, great grip and control while driving. Really a relief compared to the treadless summer tires. Highly recommended!
