Beautiful SPD shoe with simple lacing in usual Shimano quality

- Uwe, 11 July, 2022

I used to have the MT34 from Shimano, which is getting on in years. The MT502 has a slightly narrower cut and therefore doesn't look so "clunky". The shoe sits firmly on the foot. With the lacing and the velcro fastener, the hold can be well dosed.

Pros & Cons

Adhesive foil to cover the cleat opening
Good walking behaviour
Innovative, easy-to-use lacing system
Ordered size 46 and in 47 - fits!
Screwed cover plate for the cleat opening
Inner sole seems very "thin

Good shoes, price/performance fits

- Markus, 14 February, 2022

Am very satisfied, ordered shoe size 43 and 43 fits. I used the size chart. The strap is thinner than on my previous MT5 shoe.

Pros & Cons

Comfortable

great for this price

- Wim, 10 February, 2022

Now use them without plates on flatpaddles in dry weather they work fine. Plates will come later. Size larger than normal is normal with Shimano, I think.

Pros & Cons

Fine on the bike, even without plates. Still to come.
Not expensive for the quality
sit well
