RockShox Reverb AXS

Very easy to install! Reliable in function !

My old dropper was from new not smooth to operate, after several times at the bike shop who lubricated the cable after which the problem should be solved still not. After mounting the Sram AXS groupset I also mounted the electronic dropper post from RockShox, and that works really super, fast, smooth, finally I can concentrate on the track, and not whether my saddle wants to go down or up.

I always rode with my saddle on the low side to keep the center of gravity low and have a lot of freedom of movement. On the flatter stretches I noticed that I could gain a lot from a higher saddle position there, so looking for a dropper. Because I was very satisfied with my ASX derailleur, I immediately went for the ASX dropper. Of course I wanted to get the right size in one go, and with SRAM's simple calculation tool I quickly found it. Installation of the dropper is child's play due to the lack of cables. The shifter was still a challenge; it had to be mounted on the handlebar together with the remote lock-out of the fork next to/under the brake. After some twisting and puzzling we succeeded. Then the first experience of riding; wonderfully fast and direct control. Because I've raised my highest saddle position a little higher than I normally ride with, climbing and accelerating on flat stretches is now much more efficient. Immediately a bit faster on a track I had ridden more often. On the rough sections the saddle goes all the way down which gives a lot of freedom of movement and control. I was always a bit skeptical about electronics on an MTB (dirt/water/throw and toss), but I'm completely won over. It works so quickly and accurately. Now ride with a nice combo of electronic dropper and electronic shifting, where I also no longer have to worry about a dead battery on the road: swappable in case of emergency.

The seatpost is super-easy to assemble and very easy to use, and of course very useful for getting over steep inclines. Only drawback: the battery is located at the back of the saddle, which prevents the use of a small saddle bag to carry essential gear in case of a problem.

Great seatpost, responsive and fluid, easy to install. The fact that it's wireless is a real plus, no cables or hoses to pull. For those who can afford it, I really recommend it.

Is definitely not the cheapest, but worth every euro. Been using the dropper for 2 weeks now for daily ride of about 2 hours and I have only charged the battery once. Even with the current temperatures around freezing.

I bought this stem because I already had the AXS derailleur, to have a homogenous and sober cockpit. The result is fantastic. It's the best seatpost on the market, that's all.

About the product, the AXS Reverb works great. The installation is very quick, in a few minutes you have it on and it is on and off in no time. The operation is as expected, very good, with an instant response to the button. On the other hand, for a "top of the range" seatpost I find it too heavy. The silver ring should be black for better aesthetic integration and the price, although it's a very good price here, it's still a high price. As for the shop, great, good communication beforehand with a few questions and very fast shipping. I asked for an opinion before buying in a specialised forum and they told me OK. Everything is great

I was hesitating between several seatposts and I think I made the right decision. I already have the AXS derailleur and with this seatpost there are fewer cables in sight and it works like a dream. Very very happy.

The AXS Reverb in combination with the AXS E01 is a dream. Simple assembly. In conjunction with Matchmaker, the result is a 1 A cockpit. If you have the whole package, you have to pair everything with the rear derailleur! Otherwise you won't get a unified support system put together under one bike in the app.

I treated myself to the Reverb AXS as part of a complete drive conversion to SRAM AXS and am thrilled. Installation is no problem, even for non-professionals. Mounting and adjusting the saddle is also very easy and well solved. The seat post extends very quickly and no force is needed to release it.

I have been using the Rock Shox Reverb AXS seatpost for 3 weeks now and I am very satisfied. The expense is high but in my opinion it's worth it. I've paired it with the Sram AXS rear derailleur, via app I've customised the remote controls and I have a very ergonomic system. The response of the seatpost is immediate and both when it rises and when it falls it is modulable and adjustable at every height. The absence of wires doesn't alter the aesthetics of the bike, makes the handlebars clean and reduces the risk when passing through the branches of a forest. The battery lasts a long time, I use it as a safety battery for the gearbox, as the latter works more often. The weight is low and the difference with mechanical seatposts is only a few grams.

Dropper post with wireless technology - it’s costly but if you have multiple bikes you can just buy the one item and swap the saddle and post with one Allen key and two minutes! Plenty of travel, secure when in use and super swish!!

Love this! Had a hydraulic reverb On my last bike. Then the new one had a Bontrager cable one. This is so much better than both. Quick action. Feels sturdy. Easy to fit. Battery lasts a long time. Looking at axs gears now

The product is really well made and works very well. Two minor flaws: 1 - the handlebar controller collar doesn't open completely, forcing you to remove the handlebar grip and brake lever for assembly; there is a hinged version, but it's optional and considering the cost of the item, putting it as an option is just bum. 2 - by lifting the bike from the saddle, the 'arm' extends, it is practically blocked only towards the descent, not if you pull it upwards. The real 'flaw' is the price, a similar item from Magura costs just over half as much. I chose this one only because it has an extension of 17cm against the Magura's maximum of 15cm.

Does exactly what it should do with no messing

By far cheaper than any other online shop. Also a great service. The dropper post size I needed wasn’t in stock...I registered for an update as to when it would arrive back in stock. Less than a week passed and it arrived in stock and I had the product within a few days. I live in the UK. Will definitely shop here again.

All aspects of the Rock Shox Reverb AXS were better than I expected, The head mechanism is clever and easy to use, but best of all its super quick to release on activation. Which is the opposite of the Magura ELECT which I have previously owned.
