Mega tight steering wheel

- Daniël, 5 September, 2021

Upon unpacking, you immediately notice how light this handlebar is. Everything about the handlebars looks great. When mounting it, the internal cable routing is a bit of a puzzle. Although the small holes make for a super-stars appearance, it is a bit tricky when routing the cables. When riding, the handlebars are nicely direct. In the drops, a nice aggressive stance. When sprinting away, it is easy to feel how stiff the handlebars are.

Pros & Cons

Light
Rigid
Sleek appearance
Little space to mount accessories
Somewhat difficult to guide cables inside ear

Fine, beautiful and super light!

- Frederieke, 31 August, 2021

The first thing I loved was the weight of the handlebars! It is super light and that saves a lot on the weight of your bike. In addition, the width of the handlebars was perfect for me. This allowed me to hold it comfortably and the drop bars were also a comfortable height. Only it was a bit difficult with my bike's wiring. Those had to be worked through and that was a bit trickier. Of course, this does make the bike look really nice and pro! All in all, a really nice handlebar!

Pros & Cons

Drop bar is fine height
Handlebar width
Weight
Mounting was a bit more difficult with the wires through.

Mega tight steering wheel!

- PF-91, 18 August, 2021

Everything about this handlebar exudes quality. The places where the shifters and stem should be attached are slightly roughened for extra friction, keeping them firmly in place. The flat aero shape not only looks very nice, it is also comfortable for your forearms when you want to cycle in a more relaxed position yourself. I also notice a clear difference with how nice it is to have such a stiff handlebar when pulling a full sprint compared to my old aluminium handlebars. Although this handlebar was obviously developed to hide all cables internally, this is not a requirement and it still supports slightly older Shimano groupsets just fine. The handlebar is a bit narrower than my previous one which makes for a more comfortable ride. For the internal cable routing through the handlebars, I did have to replace/extend the outer cable of my brakes because they were just a bit short. It was a bit of a chore to guide the cables through the handlebars, but in the end it worked out well.

Pros & Cons

Aero shape
Internal cable routing
Rigidity
Mounting accessories differently

Very nice update for the bike, highly recommended!

- FamM, 18 August, 2021

A breath of fresh air on the bike after this top update for my bike. This pro vibe aero handlebar is really an asset to the bike. It was easy to mount together with the pro vibe stem. It took some fitting and measuring to get my accessories onto the handlebars, but it was all worth it. The first ride already felt familiar. It steers wonderfully light, thanks to the materials and design used. The brackets are real pluses for me, short and able to fit my hands well. My hands can also rest well on the top. The look is top notch and gives the bike a bit more appeal. After several rides, it feels more and more familiar, partly because of the quality. A super update for the bike and highly recommended for cycling enthusiasts who want just a bit more.

Pros & Cons

Beautiful design
Compact and light
Great steering
Less space on handlebar for accessories

Great aero, super tight

- Jari197, 4 August, 2021

Super handlebars for those who want to go that extra mile. Relatively easy to mount (even for non DI2) and super sleek look for any road bike. Does not weigh much at all but feels very solid. A pity that I now have less space to mount my gps but with a bit of key work I still managed to do so. Hopefully I will be able to do a lot more miles with these aero handlebars. It is quite an investment but I think it is worth it. I have just been cycling with it for a week now and I am really very happy with it. It does exceed my expectations as I didn't think the handlebars would be so stiff and light yet feel very solid. The plain black colour does really finish it off, this ensures that the handlebars really fit any colour road bike, add a nice handlebar tape around this and you are off for so many great kilometres.

Pros & Cons

Easy to install
Lightness
Look
Little space for mounting accessories

Top handlebar that won't look out of place on the serious cyclist.

- Robert-Jan, 30 July, 2021

Super light and a beautiful design are the first things that stand out when unpacking this handlebar. Holes in the right places allow all cables to be routed internally through the handlebars. Unfortunately, this was not possible with my shifters. The handlebar is really designed to be used with Di2. Due to its special shape, the handlebars are very aerodynamic and pleasant to rest your hands on. Fully carbon and therefore very stiff and a bit narrower than a normal mainstream handlebar, making it responsive to adjustments. The only downside to the handlebars I have come across is that due to the unusual shape and little to no accessories (GPS holders, bike bell) can be mounted on them. But that's not a problem for most serious cyclists.

Pros & Cons

Due to its stiffness, the handlebar is very responsive
Ready for Di2
Super light
Accessories cannot be mounted

Lightweight aero handlebars

- Robin, 4 June, 2021

After unpacking, you notice how slick the handlebar looks, partly because the lettering has also been kept black. I had expected something of a flex in the handlebar, but it is incredibly stiff and exudes speed! In addition, the weight stands out in a positive sense. This is my first carbon handlebar and with internal cable routing. Installing the cables took some fitting, measuring and trying again to get right. With the cables then finally in place, securing the shifters is very easy. In fact, at the place where you attach the shifters there is a marker so that both shifters can be set at the same height. There is also a kind of sand texture (similar to carbon paste) incorporated on this part, giving the shifter more grip on the handlebars. Fixing the handlebars is now a breeze and the handlebar tape easily wraps around the handlebars. During the first ride, the first impression is confirmed, it is an incredibly stiff handlebar that makes you feel at one with the bike. However, the shape of the handlebar bend does take some getting used to. I come from a round handlebar shape, whereas this one feels more triangular when you ride in the stirrups. I am not entirely sure whether I find this an added value and am still looking for a comfortable hand position. In terms of ride experience compared to an aluminium handlebar, the differences are minimal. You mainly feel the difference during a standing sprint movement; you feel that there is less flex in these PRO handlebars. So it all feels just that little bit tighter and more efficient. You can't argue about taste, but the hidden cables make it look sleek. With my previous handlebars, I could regularly hear the wind whistling because of the air resistance, something I haven't noticed with this one. So it is an incredibly nice aero handlebar, incredibly stiff, lightweight and it radiates quality. A real upgrade for your bike.
