Top service

- Tim, 9 February, 2023

I am very satisfied with Cush Core so far. The assembly is not the easiest but if you have the hang of it, even that is easy. The service at Mantel is 1A and highly recommended.

Pricey but does the job it was made for.

- Tom, 15 August, 2022

Assembly was some work but with the right tools and instructions it is doable. Advice though is to use the supplied valves. It costs some money but I think it is definitely worth the investment with my carbon rims.

Pros & Cons

Can drive with lower tire pressure
Ideal with carbon rims for impact damage
Mounting is more difficult
Pricey but worth investing

More security on rougher trails

- Joost, 22 July, 2021

Best rim protector available right now. Putting it on is a bit more work, but is fairly easy as long as the instructions are followed. (Also with heavier enduro version of Vittoria Mazza).

Pros & Cons

Best rim protection
Ride rocks confidently at low pressure
Price
Slightly more work to put on

More than just a tyre insert.

- Paul, 18 August, 2020

Great tyre insert that is so much more than the pool noodle style of rim protection insert. Offering the ability to run lower pressures, grip and feel is increased while reducing vibration and chatter. Expensive yes but for the serious mtber a great investment bringing real changes and improvements in performance you can feel first hand. Slightly tricky to install the first time (very helpful videos found on the cushcore website) but a doddle once you have the knack.

Pros & Cons

Improved feel
Improved grip
Puncture and rim protection
Reduced chatter
Price
Slightly tricky initial installation

Pure GRIP and rim PROTECTION, Quality RIDE!

- Shaun, 4 May, 2020

I purchased the cushcore mainly to protect my carbon rims and to run slightly lower tyre pressures for more grip. Installation was easy (recommend watching installation video first).. so i dropped my tyre pressures by 2psi front and back (which before cushcore was installed running on the lower pressures just tubeless setup when hitting berms at high speeds the tyre would seem to like roll/burp and jumps & drops didnt feel to good either) and went out on my locals trails a mixure of fast downhill with high speed berms, jumps, drops & rock gardens.. what a difference cushore had made to my setup the extra grip i had by only dropping slight pressure, the landings from jumps & drops was alot smoother and the confidence i had smashing through the rock gardens what an awsome product well done cushcore.. also it was my first purchase with mantel, fantastic customer service and super quick delivery i couldnt be happier with my purchase i shall be using again for sure highly recommend. Thankyou mantel

Pros & Cons

Extra rim protection
More comfortable ride
More confidence
No more tyre roll or burp (no air loss)
Run lower tyre pressure for more grip
