Giro Aerohead MIPS

Excellent helmet that I use in competition. The white colour keeps the heat down and the vents are effective. The black visor is not distracting in low light conditions.

the helmet meets my expectations in every respect, with pleasant vision, comfort and easy adjustment. The order arrived a day early, even though I had placed it on a Sunday, and the packaging was of the highest quality, so as not to damage the helmet.

Very comfortable helmet, light weight and aerodynamic, being able to lift the screen completely is great, you can leave the ears in the air when you want, in a climb for example.

I have had this helmet for 2 weeks now and I like it very much. I really like the visor and enough wind comes through the slots above the visor. Fine fit

The product is simple and functional, the treat would have been a carry bag. Given the price you can't expect a transparent lens included, cycling with the sun low on my forehead however I found the included lens too poorly 'shielded' as I was really struggling to see... pity.

Wore the helmet recently immediately after purchase during my triathlon race. Seats really nice...good visibility all around and I could adopt good aero posture while cycling.

It is the first areo helmet I have worn. It feels really top notch and the removable visor makes it very easy to put on and take off. The magnetic attachment of the visor does a great job.

Very cool and good quality. I don't know if I'll gain much in aerodynamics but the photos will look great ;-) As an improvement, it could have a completely transparent visor for rainy days and a fidlock.

I am more than satisfied, first order on this site, I trusted the reviews. Ordered on Friday and received on Monday! Extremely short lead time, plus the helmet was sold for 40n euros less than on competing sites! The helmet itself is excellent, comfortable and pleasant to wear. The visor is really well designed, offering an excellent field of vision, even in rainy conditions. It also provides excellent protection from the rain - I rode an IM 70.3 for 2? hours entirely in the rain, and my head stayed dry! The helmet saves between 1.5 and 2km/h in the aero position over the same course. On the other hand, in very hot weather, it's hard to wear it for more than 4-5 hours, because after around 3 hours, the helmet starts to fog up and perspiration starts to run down the visor - a real pressure cooker effect! the visor is very intuitive to use, but the straps are slightly difficult to tighten and loosen Score 8/10 for me Thanks Mantel!

I bought the aero helmet for an Ironman. Very comfortable from the first time I wore it. Ventilation is ok. Visor is great!

This helmet forms really well with ample adjustments. The magnetic helmet is tricky initially bit once you know exactly where to put it it clips in the place with ease.

Medium-size was a comfortable fit for 58CM, how much does get quite hot after 30 minutes at effort but very easy to get on and off and seemed very Aero

I love the helmet. My only slight issue is the weight, I guess it is what it is... but 50 miles into a ride I definitely knew I had it on.

This is my first attempt at purchasing a aero helmet so i have nothing To compare it to, having said that i could not be more pleased with this purchase. It fits so well i actually prefer it to any of my other helmets and i have several. The ventilation and fit are superb as a added benefit the wind noise Around your ears is substantially reduced. Could not be more pleased with this purchase.

Giro Aero Helmet Usual quality helmet from Giro Not much to add to other reviews, worth a few seconds on the TTs. Comfortable, easy to adjust. Did feel bigger than my old Advantage, ie not as snug round my head. But easier to remove. Would have liked two visors for the price.

Certainly the helmet looks and feel the part. It's surprisingly well ventilated even when I did a 25 mile TT in 25°C heat. Set a great time, so I'm hoping the helmet helped. The visor seems nice and secure, although does mark my face temporarily as it rests on my cheeks. Negatives are the visor gives a slightly distortion to your vision, (although didn't cause any problems), and the helmet is a little tight near the back of my head which is probably due to the aero fit style.
