Worn this jacket in heavy rain, kept me warm and dry and the shake dry element was really good. Only thing I think it could do with is a storage/carry bag especially for the price

Shakedry is great - users know. I had no chance to use it in the rain but this is my second shakedry jacket thus i would not expect surprise here. Might be useful for Castelli users: i am XL in Gabba, Alpha, jerseys (except XL Perfetto that is real sporty fit). Got this one in XL and it is surprisingly more relaxed than all my previous Castelli clothing. I can easily put it on Alpha jacket. Do not know how consistent sizing is - my piece is relaxed, that i like. Did not test flapping above 40km/h yet, below i ok.

Pros & Cons

Expensive but in my opinion worth it to stay dry without overheating. A good wind proof extra layer that easily fits in a jersey pocket as well. I am 6 feet 1 and 71kg and a large is a good fit.
