Saddle after expectation. You don't slide off your will because of structure on saddle. Street nice and tight on the bike. Also fine seat comfort without cycling shorts for short rides.

I have been using it recently. It is beautiful. It is yielding in the center and "works." Every little setting, tilt, forward/backward, makes itself felt where it is needed. So you have to "know" it. It is not true that it is TOP for bikepacking as if it were an armchair with eyes closed. Everyone is made in the way it is used. Let's say it is "demanding" and needs to be set up.

This is my first Cambium but I bougth it thanks my colleagues advices. I can confirm it is special because the saddle doesn't adapt to you but you have to adapt yourself to the saddle, it's not an issue because it happens fast but you must be tenacious. If the saddle shape fits you wait a bit before giving up.

I bought a gravel bike that came with this saddle as standard and I gave it a good try but expecting to have to change it for my regular saddle choice. What a revelation - the most comfortable saddle I have ever tried - and quite by chance! The striking thing about it - apart from its shape clearly fitting me perfectly - is the road vibration damping giving a noticeably smoother ride via its “rubber hammock” style of construction. I have narrow sit bones and by the “rules” of saddle width calculations, this saddle shouldn’t fit me - but it does, and perfectly. This particular purchase is to replace my regular saddle on my road bike which has 28mm Gatorskin tyres at 90psi - and the road vibration damping is even more pronounced - a completely different bike. The carved saddle also “feels” narrower by way of increasing the the flexibility of the saddle nose through the legs - and yet it maintains full comfort in the sit bone area. I am extremely pleased with this saddle but would just temper this review by reminding everyone that saddles are a personal thing - everyone is a different shape. I feel very fortunate to have found the saddle and would also add that I ride with the Castelli Progetto X2 pad in my bib shorts - they also add to my comfort also in the whole package. Other reviews mention that this saddle is on the heavy side but this isn’t an issue that I consider important - it’s lovely!

I have always wanted the comfort of a saddle and I must say that the Brooks C15 Carved Cambium all Weather a met my needs. From now on in my Gravel trips will be definitely more pleasant I recommend the Mantel site for the.best price and delivery on time.

600km ride minor scuffs but for me a good saddle for these distances the opening also gives just that relief from the noble parts

I did 450km in 4.5 days and my butt cheeks hurt every day. But it wasn't an unbearable pain and it also didn't last long. After a night sleep I couldn't feel it anymore (when I sat somewhere). Although when I got back on the bike it hurt but after a while you tend not to think about it. I would still be curious to try out a leather saddle and probably would have if I had to start again.

Brooks have so much experience in saddle, ask any long distance cyclist and they will have a Brooks on their bikes. I’ve already cycled 100km without any discomfort on the C15.

Saddles are so personal. I tried the C15 after a recommendation, and the reputation of Brooks. I’m not disappointed, this saddle is a definite upgrade. Two rides over 100k with no issues.

I bought this saddle for a 5-day ride of 70 km a day and it was complicated! I took the time to select the product by reading various reviews, took into account my body shape and my riding position, but after 35 km, it became very difficult to hold the position. I didn't injure myself, but I did have a lot of pain in my groin. The saddle is supple in the middle but the plastic is far too rigid at the ends. Add to that the rivets... it's not the best for sitting on. One final point: there's no wow factor when you open the box. It's clean but the cover was already fraying on the sides. The saddle is a bit heavy but I don't think that's a disadvantage. Saddle used on alu gravel canyon without shorts.

For 40 years I suffered very little from my bowel movements, but 3 years ago during a long ride in a heatwave, I felt a strong heating up equivalent to a burn and indeed I was badly burnt and I had to stop cycling for a while, After that, my rides were always painful, as if the burn had damaged my ishions. I started buying saddles by the bucketload, and even a smp evolution didn't solve anything, until I had a chat with a friend who said "do what I do, take this saddle, perhaps that it will be better" and indeed a few months ago that I bought it without really believing in it, but little by little I felt a clear improvement on the side of ishions and that goes better and better, there is a model with lighter rails which brings the weight back in the 350g but this one approaches the 500g, but I do not have the opinions on an identical comfort, this said if that can improve your excursions, do not hesitate!

I chose Brooks because of the name. I chose Brooks because people read it and say, "he has a Brooks saddle!". I chose Brooks because it's an English brand and that's cool. I chose Brooks because this model is made in Italy. I chose Brooks because it costs the same as a saddle that weighs half as much in grams. But it's not Brooks. I chose Brooks because for the first time, from the first time, the saddle adapted to my bottom and not vice versa. I chose Brooks because in a few years my bike will have aged. It will have improved. I chose Brooks.

Sits fine as you can expect from a Brooks saddle. Does creak, but rubbing Vaseline on the underside of the saddle prevents this.

For me, this saddle was not suitable. Couldn't get used to it and kept suffering from saddle pain. Moreover, the creaking noises annoyed me. This can be solved by applying mounting paste or squirt lube to the bolts. But I am of the opinion that this simply should not be the case with a saddle of this price range. For me, it was a setback.

As a replacement for the standard saddle on my trek marlin 7. A world of difference! Earlier after 2 hours my rear end was quite sore, now not at all. I took it with me on a cycling holiday and was able to test it extensively with long consecutive days in the saddle. Am really super happy with it! Only downside is the appearance. The material is not really nice and because of the cut-out you look directly at the fastening. Normally, a Brooks saddle has that nice vintage look. This saddle, however, is above all very practical and ergonomic. That, of course, is also the most important thing!

I now feel much more comfortable with the saddle on my gravel pony. Flat saddle, the pain in the sit bones is gone and noticeably relieves the perineal area. Various other saddles were problematic, of course the saddle is a very personal thing and other parameters like setup and pants have to be right too. The few grams don't bother me if the seating comfort is right.

Like most people, I was searching for the one. The one I could spend my afternoons with, go for scenic bike rides with and maybe spend the rest of my life with. Well I think I have found the one. No its not keira knightly, it's the Brooks c15 carved saddle. I was sceptical at first. I'd heard many great things but I'd felt like everyone was playing matchmaker. I was wary at first, after all, I'd been hurt before - quite literally. Saddles can be painful if they aren't right for you! But as soon as we met I knew this one was special. I was Instantly made to feel comfortable and before I knew it, we were closer than I've ever felt to any other. I could literally spend all day with my nether regions. Everything just fit and I cant wait to see where our adventures take us together. Great service from Mantel as well. I'd invite them to the big day but I think we will be eloping. Naturally.

The firm moulding feels very stable with comfort coming from the flex with each pedal stroke.

Very comfortable saddle which is very well made and above all, waterproof. Nearly as comfortable as my old Brooks Swift but straight out of the box without any breaking in. Only downside is its heavy weight.

I bought this Brooks saddle after reading an article on the Internet; I've used several saddles from several brands, my last one was an SMP, very light and very stiff. I wanted a more comfortable saddle, so I opted for a Brooks C15 Carved Cambium and I'm delighted with it. From my 1st ride, I could feel the difference in comfort, suppleness and support. You have to adjust it carefully and feel whether you want to give it a slope or not. It's 226g heavier than my old SMP, but I don't regret it. For those who are looking for comfort rather than lightness, I would recommend this saddle.

Purchased this for my CX bike currently hooked up to a smart trainer. I already had a sit bone measurement (recommded) so choice of model was straightforward. Very comfortable from the start with no break in period although you may want to experiment with a slight nose down setup.

The C15 came as highly regarded from a fellow cyclist who has replaced their stock saddle with it. Long hours in the saddle without a fatigued bum seemed like a dream to me but as my cycle mate explained “Brookes” have been in the saddle game for quite a long time now .... so they might know what their doing....give it a try! I did and my ass has never been happier! Mantel proved to be the most competitively priced supplier and they very efficiently and promptly delivered it to me. Brilliant job guys!!
