Could be better and cheaper
Personally, I find it an expensive pair of pliers, with the spring regularly jumping out on 1 side. Not convinced.

Fine cutters
Have taken it because with ordinary cutters you squeeze the cable flat, and with these it stays nice and round

Prima product
Fijne tang, goede grip. Vooral wanneer je gewend bent om te klooien met de knijptang is dit een enorme vooruitgang, onmisbaar voor de thuisklusser

Cuts both inner cable and outer jacket
The pliers meet all expectations, wasn't sure if you could also cut the outer jacket with them, but this also goes very smoothly. They do get slightly flattened but there is a special opening between the handle with which you can make the outer cable round again. As a final step, you can also use the pliers to clamp the end caps onto the inner cable.

Easy
Cuts gear cables with ease, without using force. Ensures beautifully straight cut cables. Some puzzling, though, as to which of the parts to use to attach end cap. This is not mentioned in the user manual or anything similar.

Expensive but quality & all in 1
Bought to install the Jagwire 2x Sport Shift Derailleur Cable Set and the Jagwire Universal Sport Brake cable set. Went very smoothly. Pliers cut both cable and housing, but can also press the end caps on the cables. Only drawback is that the liner of the sheath is a bit tight after cutting

a relief
I have been putting cables on my bikes for years and I could do it with the pliers from the toolbox, but this is a fine tool that cuts the cables nicely in one go without fraying, which is much nicer. No more reworking or twisting loose wires! And finally I can secure the barrels to the cable ends without cutting them or losing them again anyway.
