Pros
This PLT handlebar is stiff and lightweight as it is made from double-butted aluminium. |
A higher degree of stiffness results in better handling than with a handlebar from a lower segment. |
The sitting position is quite sporty but there is also enough room to sit in a more comfortable position. |
The high grade aluminium used in the construction gives light and stiff handlebars. |
With this handlebar, the shifters are a bit further away than with the Pro LT & PLT handlebars. This makes for a more sporty riding position. |
Compared to other Race & Performance handlebars, your shifters are still quite close. This gives you just that bit more comfort. |
The handlebar curve is a lot deeper, which allows you to adopt an aggressive and performance-oriented sitting position in the drop bars. |
This handlebar is ideal for long distance riders, both on and off-road! |
This handlebar offers a comfortable sitting position, even when riding in the drops! |
The high hand position takes the strain off your shoulders. |
The wide hand position and short reach enable direct steering without making your bike feel jittery. |
These bars are made from 2014 aluminum, which greatly improves their road handling. |
Their width provides good control on rough terrain. |
The width also allows you to sit more comfortably in the drops. |
These bars are Di2 internal cable routing compatible. |
The special gravel-specific design of these bars makes your bike even more beautiful! |
Cons
For a truly sports orientated, deep sitting position the Pro Vibe handlebar is a better choice. |
It is not possible to conceal the Di2 cables entirely internally with this handlebar. Only at the bottom of the handlebar are openings provided to connect the Di2 cable to the junction box. |
If less agile, the deep drop bars may be uncomfortable. |
This handlebar is less suitable for performance-oriented cyclists. |
The shifters are at angle to these bars, so if your bike fit isn't correct there's a higher risk of numbness in the hands. |
The Di2 cable routing system is not 100% internal, but actually enters the handlebar at the bottom. |
