Description

PowerBar PowerGel Hydro is a highly liquid energy gel that can be taken without additional water. The liquid composition enables your body to absorb the gel rapidly. The light concentration makes the gel also suitable for those with a sensitive digestive tract.

The PowerGel Hydro is based on PowerBar's Dual Carb Mix. This 2:1 glucose-fructose ratio enables a maximum carb intake of 90 grams an hour. By comparison, sports nutrition products that use only glucose can provide a maximum intake of 60 grams per hour. In addition, each Hydro gel contains approximately 200 milligrams of sodium, which contributes to good moisture absorption and makes you feel thirsty so that you continue to hydrate during exercise.

The PowerGel Hydro comes in PowerBar's unique and innovative packaging. They use the 'Trash Chain' technology to prevent you from losing the top strip when opening the packaging. This makes the PowerBar gels environmentally friendly as well.

Note: The Hydro gels contain caffeine: Cola - 100 mg per gel, Cherry - 51 mg, and Mojito - 51 mg.

Technology

Recommended use: Take 1 gel 30 minutes prior to a short high-intensity effort or take 1 gel at the end of a long endurance effort. It is recommended not to consume more than 1 gel per day.

Recommended dosage: The depletion of carbohydrate reserves during exercise is one of the most common causes of fatigue. Replenishing carbohydrates before and during exercise can improve (cycling) performance. If the effort lasts longer than 90 minutes, it is recommended to consume additional carbohydrates. A commonly used strategy is to consume energy gels during the high-intensity phases of exercise. The digestion process of energy gels requires less blood flow than other sports nutrition products.

Warning: Contains caffeine (51 - 100 mg per gel). Not recommended for children and pregnant women. This nutritional supplement is not suited for people under the age of 18.
