The Maxxis Ardent uses an aggressive lug pattern, designed to offer optimal traction combined with classic looks. The Skinwall tyres just give your bike that little extra touch. The raised knobs next to the main tread ensure you can cut through corners at speed without breaking traction. The tread itself has been designed to grip onto the surface under acceleration and braking.
The tyres can be used tubeless which greatly reduces your chances of getting a flat. By running your tyres tubeless, you can run at a lower pressure without risking snake bites, as there's no inner tube to puncture. If there is a leak, then the liquid latex added to the tyre beforehand will quickly plug the hole.
An extremely cut-resistant and abrasion-resistant material added to the sidewalls of select mountainbike tires. This densely woven fabric is also lightweight and highly flexible, ensuring that the performance of the tire remains unaffected.
