Description
Description
Magura Julie Performance disc brake pads type 4.1. Performance are organic brake pads for Magura brakes. Organic brake pads are made of soft materials. These brake pads therefore provide excellent control and good braking power. Due to the soft compound, this pad also grips quickly. In addition, the organic compound ensures that these brake pads make little noise while riding.
The disadvantage of organic brake pads is that they are less resistant to higher temperatures, which can occur during long descents, or other circumstances. Also, organic brake pads wear faster if you ride a lot in muddy conditions.
In short, if you mainly use the bike in the summer and mainly cycle in on flat terrain, then you these organic brake pads are a perfect fit. However, if you mainly use the bike in winter, or if you regularly go to hilly/mountainous areas, it is better to go for Semi-Metallic brake pads.
Note:
Manufacturers use different fits. So pay close attention to whether the shape of the brake pad in the image corresponds to your current brake pad. If you don't know what shape you have, scroll down to the bottom of this page. There is a description for each brake pad for which type of brake it is suitable.
