Koolstop D320 disc brake pads are soft, organic, brake pads that are suitable for Formula disc brakes. Organic brake pads are made of soft materials. These brake pads therefore provide excellent dosability and good braking power. Due to the soft compound, this block also grips quickly. In addition, the organic compound ensures that these brake pads make little noise while riding.
The disadvantage of organic brake pads is that they are less resistant to higher temps, which can occur during long descents. Organic brake pads wear faster if you ride a lot in muddy conditions.
In short, if you mainly use the bike in the summer and mainly cycle on flat terrain, then these organic brake pads are the perfect choice. However, if you mainly use the bike in winter, or if you regularly go to hilly/mountainous areas, it is better to go for Semi-Metallic brake pads.
Note:
Manufacturers use different fits. So pay close attention to whether the shape of the brake pad in the image corresponds to your current brake pad. If you don't know what shape you have, scroll down to the bottom of this page. There is a listing that matches the shape of the brake pad to the type of brake it is meant for.

It is essential that you break in your brake pads after fitting them. This has many benefits. Breaking in the pads makes them last longer, brake better and squeak less.
