Description
Description
The jagwire Pro Extreme Sintered brake pads are the cream of the crop in durability and resistance to extreme heat. These jagwire Pro Extreme Sintered brake pads consist of a resin compound that is mixed with extra large metal particles, which makes the brake pad extremely wear-resistant and durable. In addition, the aluminium backplate ensures that the heat that is generated when braking is dissipated extra well.
The disadvantage of these brake pads is that they do not engage as quickly as organic or semi-metallic brake pads and make more noise when braking.
These brake pads are therefore very suitable if you cycle a lot downhill in warm conditions. These pads are also suitable for muddy conditions where you have to brake a lot. These brake pads are therefore a good choice for downhill and enduro.
Not suitable for all rotors
These hard brake pads are not suitable for all rotors. These pads can only be used on ground brake discs, as they consist of harder material. Pressed soft rotors are only suitable for soft organic brake pads. These will wear out quickly due to harder brake pads.

Note:
Manufacturers use different fits. So please pay attention if the shape of the brake pad in the picture corresponds to your current brake pad. If you do not know what shape you have, please scroll to the compatibility section. There you will find a description of each brake pad for which type of brake it is suitable.

User tips
It is essential that you break in your brake pads after fitting them. This has many benefits. Breaking in the pads makes them last longer, brake better and squeak less.Reviews
