Description

Description

The Garmin Rally RK is an extremely advanced and accurate power meter for use on road bikes. Its RK design is compatible with Look Keo cleats and perfect for both training on the road or on the indoor trainer. The Rally RK combines all the advantages of Look Keo pedals with those of a highly accurate power meter. Power meter pedals also have the advantage that they're suitable for use on several bikes, because they're easy to remove and fit onto another bike. Do you have a standard bike on your trainer? You can easily remove the pedals and you're on your way on your road bike! No more excuses not to ride!

Accurate measurement and advanced stats
From a power meter you expect highly accurate measurement and the Garmin Rally RK delivers. With an accuracy of 99% (a deviance of roughly 1%) you get extremely reliable data. Cadence measurement is also included standard.

The difference between single- and double-sided
With single-sided measurement only the power reading from your left pedal is measured. This value is then doubled , as an indication of your total power output. With double-sided pedals your power output is read from both the left and the right pedal. This makes the power readings more accurate and you get additional data. Your power output in both a sitting and a standing position is measured and compared, providing insight into position efficiency. You can also see at what point you're delivering the most power, throughout the pedal stroke, and Platform Centre Offset (PCO) gives you data on how your power output is distributed across the pedal surface. Finally, left-right balance provides insights into how your power output is divided between both legs. In short, the double-sided version provides advanced cycling dynamics on how you products your watts and where you can improve.

Full integration with the Garmin Eco-system
A Garmin isn't a Garmin until it's fully integrated into the Garmin Eco-system. For an in-depth data analysis, as well as software and settings updates, the Rally RK can easily be connected with a Garmin watch, heart rate monitor, Edge cycling computer and the Garmin Connect app. This seamless integration makes it possible to get training advice, activity data, tips and workout plans based on info from the Rally RK. And of course you can easily also upload your data to other platforms, like Strava. It goes without saying that Rally RK power meter pedals also work with training apps like Swift, and the Bluetooth and ANT+ enable you to connect with training devices from other brands. The Garmin Rally RK completes you training effectiveness.

Battery life
The Garmin Rally RK has no internal, rechargeable battery but makes use of button cell batteries. The disadvantage of this is that you of course have to change these batteries every now and then. Fortunately they last for up to 120 hours, which is a fair bit longer than the majority of internal, rechargeable batteries found in other power meters. And the battery cover and screw thread are also made from metal, instead of plastic, which significantly improves the durability and robustness of the Rally, in comparison to the Vector.
