The Fizik Tempo R5 Powerstrap is a versatile road bike shoe that is excellent on paved roads. It distinguishes itself from other road bike shoes due to the innovative Powerstrap velcro strap. Most velcro straps pull two sides of the shoe towards each other. The innovative Powerstrap of the Tempo R5 winds itself around the instep and side of the shoe. Due to the elastic ribbon, the shoe adjusts itself to the shape of your foot and pressure is divided equally over the foot. This ensures an optimal fit and very high wearing comfort.
The R5 nylon composite outsole provides a wonderful balance between comfort and stiffness. This outsole is reinforced with carbon, which improves power transmission to the pedals. Meanwhile the comfort of the shoe remains excellent, making the Fizik Tempo R5 Powerstrap suited for long distance use as well.

You can easily measure your foot length using an A4 sheet of paper, placed on the floor against a wall. Stand with one foot on the piece of paper, with your heel against the wall. Draw a line above your big toe (or above the index toe if that is longer). Now mark your other foot on the paper in the same way. Measure both - the measurement of your longest foot is your foot length in mm's! Please note: some manufacturers have their own measuring system, and as a result what appears on the shoebox can deviate from what we have measured.

Very nice shoes for the price.

Owned these shoes for a fortnight now. Took a few rides on them and overall very satisfied. The shoes they sufficiently stiff for the recreational rider and the sizing matches that of my normal shoes. Unfortunately, the Velcro can catch some dirt. However, this is not an insurmountable problem.

Lovely shoe. Sits nicely and nice and airy. Only downside is that it cannot be tightened as much as with, for example, laces or BOA system.
