Description
The DT Swiss PRC 1400 Spline 35 road bike wheels are very all-round and can therefore be used everywhere. Whether it is in the mountains, on hilly terrain or on flat roads, the PRC 1400 SPLINE can handle it all! The DT Swiss PRC 1400 SPLINE 35 wheels are equipped with a 35 mm high carbon rim, rigid straight pull spokes and a top class DT Swiss 240 hub.
• DT Swiss RWS Quick Release
• DT Swiss Tubeless Tape 21 mm
• DT Swiss Tubeless Valves
• SwissStop Black Prince Brake Pads
• (possibly a torque wrench)
Installing a cassette on a wheel is easy if you have the right tools. If you purchase a cassette remover with a Shimano fit, you will be able to mount either a Shimano or Sram cassette on your rear wheel. Please note! For a Campagnolo cassette you need the Campagnolo tool. If you have a Shimano 9/10-speed cassette, first slide the spacer over the body. Then you place the cassette on the body. This can only be done in one way because of the fit of the body. Finally you turn the washer straight on by hand and tighten it with the cassette tool. Cassettes aren’t easily overtightened, but if you want you can use a torque wrench for this.
• For Shimano 9/10-speed, do not forget to mount the spacer first before installing the cassette
• Make sure the rim tape is stuck well in the rim
