Description

The Crankbrother Candy 1 pedals are durable and are waterproof sealed. These 'small platform' pedals are the do it all pedals. These pedals can be used for XC, Trail and All mountain. The composite cage provides just that little bit of extra support to your shoes. This pedal is fitted with a Cromoly steel axle. They have used 2 types of bearings: an industrial bearing and a Delrin bearing. The good thing about these pedals is that you can clip-in on four points instead of the usual two sides that other brands offer. Additionally, this clip in system is open so mud will no longer be a problem when trying to clip-in.

Ticks all the boxes for a spd pedal

I have used crankbrothers for a number of years. I did get knee pain from previous pedals but have not looked back since using candy 1 due to the amount of float which helps tremendously. Top marks for a reasonable price
