Description
Campagnolo Bora One 50 road bike wheels are right there with the most elegant road bike wheels on the market. The shiny 50mm deep carbon rim made of 3k carbon give the wheels a unique look and are a great upgrade for any road bike. Campagnolo Bora One road bike wheels are made with as much attention to detail as you can expect from a Campagnolo wheelset. Light, stiff and aerodynamic, that's the best description of the Campagnolo Bora 50 One wheels.
This Bora 50 wheelset uses very smooth-running USB ceramic cup cone bearings. The Bora wheels have an internal rim width of 17 mm. This makes 25mm tyres fit nicer on the rim, which, among other things, improves rolling resistance and comfort. The AC3 brake edge technology ensures better braking performance in wet conditions.
G3 spoke geometry
Campagnolo has devised a spoke pattern that makes it possible to improve energy transfer and to reduce the load on the right side of the spokes compared to a traditional spoked wheel. This is achieved in the G3 spoke geometry with on the right side the double number of spokes compared to the left side for more lateral stiffness.
The concept is both simple and elegant: balance the wheel by adding a small weight opposite of the valve.
3DIAMANT
This new process eliminates the "breaking-in" period, improves braking performance in both wet and dry conditions, and ensures better modulation and smoother braking performance.
G3 GEOMETRY
Campagnolo came up with a spoke pattern which improves power transfer and reduces stress on the drive side compared to a traditionally laced wheel. They call this the G3 spoke geometry, which uses twice the number of spokes on the right side compared to the left in order to increase the lateral rigidity of the wheel.
• (possibly a torque wrench)
Installing a cassette on a wheel is easy if you have the right tools. If you purchase a cassette remover with a Shimano fit, you will be able to mount either a Shimano or Sram cassette on your rear wheel. Please note! For a Campagnolo cassette you need the Campagnolo tool. If you have a Shimano 9/10-speed cassette, first slide the spacer over the body. Then you place the cassette on the body. This can only be done in one way because of the fit of the body. Finally you turn the washer straight on by hand and tighten it with the cassette tool. Cassettes aren’t easily overtightened, but if you want you can use a torque wrench for this.
• For Shimano 9/10-speed, do not forget to mount the spacer first before installing the cassette.
• Make sure the rim tape is stuck well in the rim.
• On both the front and rear wheel, there is a small adjustment screw on the left-hand side to adjust the side play.
