The Campagnolo Bora One 50 Dark Label racing bike wheelset give a great look to every bike. The 50mm high carbon rims are built with a 3k carbon structure which gives the wheels a very chic look. Lightweight, stiff and aerodynamic are terms that best describe the Campagnolo Bora One 50 Dark Label. Finished in detail like you are used to with a Campagnolo wheel set.
This Bora 50 wheelset uses very smooth-running USB ceramic cup cone bearings. The Bora wheels have an internal rim width of 17 mm. This makes 25mm tyres fit nicer on the rim, which, among other things, improves rolling resistance and comfort. The AC3 brake edge technology ensures better braking performance in wet conditions.
G3 spoke geometry
Campagnolo has devised a spoke pattern that makes it possible to improve energy transfer and to reduce the load on the right side of the spokes compared to a traditional spoked wheel. This is achieved in the G3 spoke geometry with on the right side the double number of spokes compared to the left side for more lateral stiffness.
The concept is simple and elegant: Balancing the wheel by means of added weight exactly opposite the valve.
AC3 Braking Surface
The AC3 treatment ensures improved braking performance and heat dissipation.
G3 GEOMETRY
Campagnolo has come up with a spoke pattern that, in comparison with a traditionally spoked wheel, makes it possible to improve energy transfer and reduce the load on the spokes on the right-hand side. Installing a cassette on a wheel is easy if you have the right tools. If you purchase a cassette remover with a Shimano fit, you will be able to mount either a Shimano or Sram cassette on your rear wheel. Please note! For a Campagnolo cassette you need the Campagnolo tool. If you have a Shimano 9/10-speed cassette, first slide the spacer over the body. Then you place the cassette on the body. This can only be done in one way because of the fit of the body. Finally you turn the washer straight on by hand and tighten it with the cassette tool. Cassettes aren’t easily overtightened, but if you want you can use a torque wrench for this.
• For Shimano 9/10-speed, do not forget to mount the spacer first before installing the cassette.
• Make sure the rim tape is stuck well in the rim.
• On both the front and rear wheel, there is a small adjustment screw on the left-hand side to adjust the side play.
