Description
Technology
Wind and waterproof thanks to the Poray 5000 material usedThe AGU Section is made of Poray 5000 material, which makes it wind and waterproof. In addition, this material provides good breathability. This keeps the body temperature better and the chance of overheating is minimal. The fully taped seams keep water out even better.
100% polyester Pongee for a light weight
The Section rain trousers are also made from 100% polyester Pongee material. This material is very lightweight, so you hardly notice you're wearing them. The material also makes the trousers noise-free, so you can hardly hear them when you're moving around. The beautiful matt look is also thanks to the 100% polyester Pongee material.
Taffeta lining to the knees for comfort
These rain trousers have a Taffeta lining up to the knees, which makes them very comfortable to wear. The long zips (50 cm) with flap make it very easy to put on and take off the AGU Section. The extended front section offers good protection for the shoes. In this way, they can also benefit from the protective qualities of these rain trousers. The elastic waistband provides an optimal fit around the waist.
Finally, this rain trousers can easily be folded into a pocket. This allows you to easily store the AGU Section, if you do not need it anymore.

perfect rain bike trousers for the e-bike
practical and affordable
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Good product for the price
At first I thought I had gotten pants that were way too long, but on the bike it was perfect. Very nice is the long zipper (to the knee) which makes putting on/off with shoes on very easy, also nice that it has a loop to hang on the coat rack with!
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
good product
I wore the previous version Shinto for years but it started leaking on the crotch, hence the new Section. Here and there I read that even this one leaks on the crotch after just one year, so will have to wait and see. I bought one size bigger, from experience I know that the trousers 'creep up' when you cycle and then the rain can run into your shoes. Agu has made a few practical improvements: the Mesh lining, which quickly broke when you put the trousers on with (hiking) shoes, has been replaced by Taffeta, the zip has become a bit longer and the Velcro at the bottom of the trouser legs has been replaced by push buttons. Other remained the same, so good.
