I used this cassette in a GRX setup on my gravel bike. This for a day of gravel in the Eifel. In front a crankset with 46-30, behind the 11-40 cassette. Although according to Shimano it could not be done, this setup worked flawlessly. I was happy with it! Ps. Next summer I'm going to try it on the road racer, with a shimano 105-7000 group. Am curious.....

Top cassette for the E-mtb, very strong and shifts really well, my old one which has been on it for 7300 km I have never had to adjust, and is not yet due for replacement. I had my first chain (kmc e 11 ept ) changed after 1800 km and immediately after that with 2 the same chains, which I changed after about 1000 km now I have ridden a total of 7300 km. And yes I ride in mud and on sandy trails, as well as on normal roads.Have ordered these as stock, so that if necessary I have to choose which one to take, and also the price at Mantel is very advantageous. Highly recommended for E-bikers with 11 speed.

After several XT cassettes, bought SLX to replace it. Now ridden a few hundred kilometers with this material. I do not notice much difference with the XT cassette. Even under load, shifting with the SLX cassette is almost equivalent to the XT variant. In terms of durability, I can't say much at this point. To be continued, definitely cost-saving recommendation at this time!

Really first-rate product quality, as expected from Shimano or even out-performing. But - I'd like to see more choice of gearing in the 11 to 30-40 range; maybe a 32 and 36?

1st rate company that delivered my cycle parts faster than a UK based company. When I placed the order and got the confirmation by email and realized it was from the EU and not the UK I thought this is going to take ages to arrive. 2 days later the postman knocking on my door with a blue box from Mantel, which was well packed, I cannot complain, oh and the price was very competitive.

I've run XT and XTR cassettes in the past and found their performance to be nothing short of perfect. So when my current ride came with an SLX my first thought was to change it the second it disappointed me. Then as the weeks turned to months and the months fell into a full year I realized that I'd simply been wasting money for the sake of different letters! The SLX is as good as any if it's higher priced brethren. Keeping it and the rest of the drive train clean has shown that this cassette is incredibly hard wearing with great longevity. Superb piece of kit and with Mantels exceptional price and their impressive delivery times things couldn't be better.

SLX seems the right balance between weight/performance and cost. The original cassette lasted for 3 chains before it got too worn si happy to replace with like for like. Reasonable price, great quality, good comms and prompt delivery by Mantel. First time I've used you guys but won't be the last.
