Shimano 105 5700 10 Speed

The 105 cassette isn't quite as light as the Ultegra equivalent, but the average cyclist won't be able to tell the difference, and it'll last just as long.

Was origineel gemonteerd op mijn Kogaspeed. Na 2 andere cassettes 10 jaar later weer gebruik gemaakt van een 105 Shimanocassette.

This 105 cassette lasts a long time, is easy to assemble with the right tools. A bit heavier than the Ultegra/Dura Ace variant, but otherwise a good product.

The wear and tear has yet to be demonstrated, but installing it succeeded even with 2 left hands after I discarded half a paper bin of foreign-language inserts. Currently it is running laps on my roller trainer and I am very satisfied with it.

Benefitting from trickle-down tech, 105 is a good bit of kit at a great value price

Not replaced a cassette before but the old one was worn so had to go. This replaced it exactly with no fuss and not even any need to adjust the indexing.
