Good, roomy panniers. The fastening system is not very easy to install; the device at the bottom of the pannier is not suitable for all bikes. In any case, ineffective for mine.

Quickly received the product (faster than indicated). But installing with the strings was a hell of a job because it's hard to reach, so really had to solve with water pump pliers. Note: Bag also rubs against the wall, making bag look ugly quickly.

Before this I had the smaller variant, I was also very satisfied with it, the brand is fantastic. Now I took the XL variant, which is better for me as I take quite a lot with me to work and the shopping goes easier.

Fully satisfied, the volume is substantial for a small footprint. Solid and well built. Only the straps are badly positioned for my taste, a little too far down the middle for my electric bike, but that's not a problem. The reflective strips are almost non-existent, just the outline of the strip and not very responsive. It doesn't really matter. A very good product.

After spending an hour 'fiddling' with those straps and brackets, ON THE BOTH SIDE OF YOUR BAGAG RACK, cutting off straps/ breaking out brackets and using thick tie-ribs to secure everything tight to the rack (leave the bits of strap where the tie-ribs can go through!)... then they are fine bags!

Sturdy and lockable panniers. Good and sturdy side flaps all around to keep the panniers' contents dry in wind and rain. Also a recess so you don't keep kicking the bags with your heel. Not very big, but big enough for me.

Beautiful bicycle bag with plenty of space and a sturdy closure. Bags can be folded in and out by pvc plates, which can be placed in special slots. I have a trekking bike myself and could not attach the pannier properly at the bottom.

Very happy with the purchase. Perfect size to carry a lot of things without being too bulky. They look great on the bike. They protect quite a lot from the rain although they are not 100% waterproof.

It is a nice spacious bag. Because reinforcement is put in beforehand, the bag stays nicely in shape and does not sag. This is also very pleasant when loading the bags.

The left bag is clearly bigger than the right one. The reinforcement plates have to be trimmed for the right with a good chance of ruining them. Surprise: even on the left, the too-large reinforcement plates do not fit into the nota bene larger half. Well, except for one that did fit. If you took those obstacles, you have a nice bag in itself. But that awkward asymmetry remains weird, which you don't expect with a product from such a big brand

Not normal for the buyer to have to craft reinforcement inserts themselves. Or trim the existing ones. Risky because material is unruly and cutting straight is a disaster. Nice bag in itself, but the difference in sizes is dilettante for a serious manufacturer. Also weird: the left bag (with the wider size) surprises in that only one reinforcement plate can be fitted there too. The other(s) is also already of wrong size. In other words: doesn't fit. So you keep cutting. In itself, the bag seems sturdy. I use it too short (few days) for good judgement on that.

This bag by Basil is big, 37 litres, you can easily fit your daily shopping in it, and because of the design, the bevelled front, it doesn't bother when cycling, your heels don't hit the bag and I'm a size 47. The bag is solid and can be securely fastened with the straps and Velcro in a few minutes. The wide opening at the top keeps the speedbinders usable. If you close your bag properly, the flaps over rather than inside the bag, it is absolutely waterproof unless you go swimming with it. The plastic plates provided, which you slide into the lining of the bag on the inside, give the bag its final shape. This looks sleek and when loading it, it is also a pulse point. You also don't have a floppy rag flapping at the back of your bike while cycling. All this does mean that the bag always has a certain volume and you have to take that into account when you want to park your bike or walk past bushes or a wall with it. It also takes some getting used to when getting on your bike, as you have to throw your leg a bit further into the air. But the latter is not a real disadvantage, so all in all: highly recommended.

Beautiful and sturdy panniers. They are easy to attach and the slanted side prevents you from hitting the pannier while cycling. They also have sufficient capacity.

Pannier bag is fine in terms of the sloping wall. When cycling, your heel does not hit the bag. Big disadvantage: totally not waterproof in heavy rain. Even the inside of the pannier (even though it was well sealed) got soaking wet. If you are looking for a waterproof pannier, I will definitely not recommend this one.
