Pros
The Rapid Red 3 wheels are the Racing 3 of gravel wheels: lightweight, comfortable and highly responsive when accelerating.
Suitable for tubeless tyres, so that if you get a puncture the latex fills the hole and you can continue cycling.
Thanks to the 24 mm inner rim width, 30 - 46 mm tyres will fit easily.
The straight-pull spokes are less likely to break than j-bend spokes.
With some light maintenance (replenish bearing grease), the cup & cone bearings will last much longer than industrial bearings.
At 1540 grams, the Zipp 303 S Tubeless Disc Brake is light enough for uphill riding, but aerodynamic enough for downhill riding thanks to its 45 mm high rim.
With an internal rim width of 23 mm, 28 mm tyres work best, with maximum aerodynamic benefits and the lowest rolling resistance.
