Pros
The 1x groupset is lighter than the 2x groupset.
Because you don't need a front derailleur, there is less chance of failure and wear.
This groupset is good value for money.
This group set shifts very well, even when it gets muddy.
Due to the sleek design of the group set, your bike will look really fast!
Reliable groupset with a similar level of performance to the Shimano Ultegra R8020 groupset.
Fast shifting and powerful braking.
The front derailleur has a cable tensioner for easy installation.
The crankset is wide and therefore extra stiff to optimise your power transmission.
The rear derailleur with Shadow technology prevents external impacts, due to its clever alignment under the cassette.
The Force 22 groupset stands out because of its low weight and easy operation.
It takes a little getting used to, but the Doubletap system really works great!
Cons
Because you have fewer gears than with the 2x groupset, there is a chance that your cadence may not be optimal for some riders in some cases.
Parts are made of aluminium and the Ultegra tool kit is therefore slightly heavier than the Dura-Ace version.
This Shimano 105 group is a bit heavier than a Shimano Ultegra groupset.
