The PowerBar Recovery 2.0 recovery drink lets you make the most of your training or match. The PowerBar Recovery 2.0 protein drink is the second generation of recovery shakes. The Recovery 2.0 is based on the latest scientific advancements when it comes to sports nutrition. This means new ingredients were added to and removed from the formula.

The PowerBar Recovery 2.0 protein shake contains carbohydrates with a high glycemic index. These carbohydrates are absorbed into the bloodstream at incredible rates, ensuring the glycogen supply (carbs stored in the muscles and liver) can be replenished quickly. In addition, the Recover 2.0 protein shake contains 10 grams of protein per shake. The proteins contribute to retention of muscle mass and recovery of damaged muscle fibre. What's more, the Recovery 2.0 protein shake contains zinc and magnesium. Zinc supports the immune system and magnesium reduces fatigue. This duo of ingredients supports an optimal recovery process.

Most notably about the Recovery 2.0 shake is that you won't find antioxidant vitamins in this protein shake. Recent studies show this can reduce training adaptation. With this unique formula, PowerBar operates on the cutting edge.

Technology

Recommended use: This product is designed for consumption within 30 minutes of exercise. Take 1-2 servings per day, immediately after training. After an intensive effort: 2 servings. After a light effort: 1 serving.

Recommended dosage: Dissolve 6 measuring spoons (approx. 88 grams) per 250 ml of water after an intensive workout. Dissolve 3 measuring spoons (approx. 44 grams) per 125 ml of water after a light workout. Shake well before use. It is recommended to consume no more than 1-2 shakes (a 88 grams of Recovery 2.0) per day.

Warning: A dietary supplement is not a substitute for a varied diet. In addition to physical activity, it is important to follow a varied and balanced diet and lead a healthy lifestyle. Do not exceed recommended dosage. If you are on a special diet or are taking medication, it is always safe to ask your doctor for advice. In tegenstelling tot andere hersteldranken die ik niet te drinken vind krijg ik deze wel makkelijk binnen. De smaak is lekker en niet overdreven sterk waardoor deze makkelijk binnengaat na een zware inspanning.
