The Giro Agilis MIPS road bike helmet grants extra safety as well as comfort. The nice compact fit and comfortable Roc Loc 5 adjustment system are a big plus. The Roc Loc 5 adjustment system allows you to adjust the fit of your helmet one handed. It is made as to accommodate people with a ponytail; simply pull it trough the opening above the dial. The extra MIPS protection layer moves with you when you fall on your head, reducing the impact and hereby reducing the risk of a concussion.
The Giro Agilis MIPS is equipped with a hard polycarbonate outer shell that is fused with the inner shell EPS foam layer, making it durable and compact. To ensure you do not get overheated during a high-intensity ride, the helmet is equipped with a total of 32 vents. These supply a constant airflow for a good cooling effect. On the inside of the Giro Agilis MIPS there are comfortable helmet pads with anti-bacterial properties. These pads are easy to remove for washing and a fresh feel for your next ride.

My head circumference is 59cm. This was the lower limit of size L. Still to the shop and after the advice, the M turned out to fit fantastically. Moreover, I received honest advice, I still think more expensive is better and had a more expensive one in mind, even though I am a novice cyclist. In short, well thought out and advised. Now I had budget left over to buy some gear for my first tubeless tyre replacement.
