XX1 AXS Rear derailleur
The Sram XX1 Eagle AXS rear derailleur is specifically designed for Cross-Country use. This XC design means that a lot of carbon was used in the derailleur’s design. Not only does this make the derailleur very rigid, it also has a low weight. Causing the derailleur to shift fast, silently and smooth even with heavy use!
Eagle AXS Shifter
The Eagle shifter has an ergonomic design and a Matchmaker X connection. Hereby making it possible to position the shifter whichever way you see fit. Additionally, the shifter reacts quickly and the controls are very precise. On top of that the shifter’s controls can be set however you want in the Sram AXS App on your smartphone.
In short, with the Sram XX1 Eagle AXS Upgradekit you can get your mountain bike all set for the future! You only replace those parts you need, install de groupset and you’re ready to fly through the forest with even more ease!

Simply Superb
This is the first time I've fitted a derailleur myself. It was a breeze and easy to setup. Being Bluetooth my handlebars are now very minimalist with just brake hoses and the AXS controllers. Out on the trails, the shifting is soo accurate and fast. I upgraded from an X1 which was good but this is another level. My second bike will be treated to AXS stuff next. The ANT+ side of things allowed me to pair it to my mega C so I also have battery life and gear displayed.

Amazing upgrade
Bought this kit along with the XX1 cassette and chain combo, as an upgrade from Hope's 11-48 11speed cassette and SRAM shifter etc. Very easy to pair the components, took some time fine tuning the shifting but it's silky smooth and silent now. The rear derailleur is much larger than an 11spd I was using so was quite concerned on the first few rides on tight singletrack it would suffer. Fortunately not a mark on it...so far :) I may just put some protective tape over the most exposed edge just for peace of mind. I did have a grinding noise at first and I thought this was due to the chain being too short but it was actually my front chainring was in need of replacing. Changed it out and no more noise. The 3rd "button" is really useful as you can just nudge it to change gear will hammering the pedals. After a few weeks of riding I'm so glad I made the switch, effortless shifting and quiet drivetrain even on the 50T.
