SRAM Rival & GX Eagle AXS Mullet 12 Speed Upgrade Kit

The SRAM Mullet Rival & GX Eagle AXS Upgrade Kit allows you to upgrade your gravel bike to electronic shifting with a wider gear range. The SRAM Mullet Rival & GX Eagle AXS Upgrade Kit combines the best of both worlds: the SRAM Rival eTap AXS shifting and braking system for road and gravel bikes together with the SRAM GX Eagle AXS MTB rear derailleur. The SRAM GX Eagle AXS rear derailleur supports cassettes of 10-50 and 10-52 ratios. This allows you to conquer the steepest hills with ease with a single chainring on the front. In addition, the SRAM GX Eagle AXS rear derailleur features an Overload-Clutch which makes your derailleur less susceptible to damage during a crash.

SRAM Rival AXS shifter brake system
The SRAM Rival AXS shifters have direct and effortlessly fast control in all conditions. This SRAM Force eTap AXS shift-brake system features hydraulic disc brake calipers. This not only makes braking easier because you don't have to squeeze your lever as far, but the disc brake also ensures that you maintain optimal braking power in poorer weather conditions. These hydraulic disc brakes work with oil pressure, which ensures that squeezing the lever has an immediate effect on the caliper, unlike a cable. This makes braking smoother, and more controllable.

SRAM GX Eagle AXS Rear derailleur
The SRAM GX Eagle AXS Rear derailleur is a very capable and durable derailleur that is equipped with the latest gadgets by SRAM. Thanks to AXS technology, you can enjoy smooth and wireless shifting with this GX Eagle derailleur. Away with those clumsy cables! The battery can be used for up to 1000 kilometers when 100% charged.

Technology

AXS Connect technology
The SRAM GX Eagle AXS drivetrain is completely customizable with the SRAM AXS app. You can opt for synchronized or traditional shifting, for example. You can also choose the functions of the buttons and connect additional devices to the system, such as a dropper post or a navigation system.

Overload-Clutch
The SRAM GX Eagle AXS derailleur comes equipped with an Overload-Clutch. This is an inventive system from SRAM that ensures that the rear derailleur is less likely to break in a crash. This clutch works like a spring. If you fall and your bike lands on the derailleur, this system 'springs' along to prevent greater damage!

Compatibility

Please note: a SRAM 1x12 speed Race/Gravel crankset is required for mounting on your gravel bike.

Assembly

Please note: mounting the SRAM Eagle 12 speed cassette on an XDR body requires an additional spacer ring. This is a Zipp 1.85 mm spacer with product number 11.1918.008.000.
