Fantastic! I am extremely happy with these shoes, I had no experience with clipless shoes before and was a little doubtful beforehand, but that turned out to be totally unnecessary. How fantastic! I feel like I retain much more energy in my revolutions. The size chart with the supplier's custom size was absolutely perfect for me which I didn't expect. The dial also works great. Haven't experienced any drawbacks so far, a pointer to the right type of shoe plate would complete it.

Shoes fit fine and walk very fine as promised , sit well and click out easily . Just have to torque the plates otherwise they really come loose .

I thought they were going to be heavier but they are very light and comfortable. They close and fit well with the boa in the middle. Comfortable for walking too.

I have wide feet with high arches, these are the best fitting cycling shoes I've every tried, the way the top of the shoe overlaps and the Boa gives a really good range of adjustment

The shoes fit perfectly for me. I normally wear a size 45 so a size up is not a luxury. The shoes close well and quickly by means of the turning knob. No more messing around with Velcro :) Also, the shoes run fine when a plate for your click-trappers is attached because the sole protects them well.

This is a good fitting shoe that also wears fine. Not as heavy as my old shimano mtb shoe. And not too expensive.

Had Shimano and have Shimano again. Have a somewhat high instep and chose this shoe for this reason. In terms of size, I went up two sizes. I thought one size was enough. But I changed it anyway. Mantel made this simple and clear. Chapeau.

After 10 years, my old Shimano shoes were really running out. Still with Velcro closure and the plates had rotted solid. Time for new ones! Shimano again, because these have proven themselves. I used the size chart to measure my feet. And excellent fit. They fit like a glove. Also ideal that they have complete boa no more Velcro. Perhaps a subtle reflection would have been an idea for the twilight ride home... Furthermore, after the first ride I immediately had muscle pain in my calves. I think because the power transfer is much more effective with the new shoes. Immediately achieved my best results again, highly recommended!

I am pleasantly surprised by this shoe. It is clear that a lot of technology from the more expensive models has now found its way into this lower model as well. The sole is not super stiff but you don't feel too much of that and it does make it easy to step on when you need to get off your bike. Even as an experienced cyclist, I can really enjoy these shoes! I would definitely order one size bigger than you are used to, though.

The shoe immediately fitted me like a glove. I visited the megastore in arnhem. I was pleasantly guided to the size I wanted. The colourway I wanted was not in my size unfortunately. But I was able to order it directly online and it was delivered within 2 days! Super service Mantel!

I gave these shoes as a gift. Thanks to the Guaranteed Fit, I received the right size (3 sizes larger than normal shoe size). They are neat neutral shoes, but I don't know if I would choose a single BOA closure myself, old-fashioned Velcro works easier in my opinion.

I was looking for cycling shoes for wider feet. Using the search/filter function on Mantel, I quickly found a number of candidates. After trying on a number of them (returns and refunds went perfectly), I ended up with these Shimano SPD shoes. The shoes fit very well! These are my first shoes with BOA closure and I am very satisfied with them! Both closing, adjusting and opening are very easy. Besides, you can still walk a good distance on these shoes, unlike my previous (SPD SL) cycling shoes.
