Schwalbe Adhesive High Pressure

Didn't know what width I needed. Took the gamble of 18mm, fits perfectly. Better than the ribbon that was in my rim right from the factory. Read on the original site that 15mm was only suitable for a rim with a very deep groove. Just found a video on how to glue it and was ready within 5 minutes. Hopefully no worries for years.

Make sure you have an old valve (if necessary, cut one out of an old inner tube). Stick this valve through the valve hole and put the rim tape over it, now tighten the nut on the valve. The whole thing is now fixed. Now go around the wheel and press the rim tape into the hollow over the spoke holes. Stick a 5 cm overlap and cut the rrst off. Done.

I am going to return this as it is too narrow for my rim, the measured rim-to-rim size is 20cm, so have ordered 22cm elsewhere and applied that to the rim. Works very well, now have 100km on it and no more punctures. (I actually got a puncture due to contact of the inner tube with the spoke holes on the rim, so replaced the existing rim tape with this). Didn't use it for tubeless but as a regular rim tape. Contrary to some reviews, my experience is that it sticks well, pull it tight as far as you can and then push the rim tape into the hub of the rim with your index finger or thumb. Make a hole at the location of the valve and done. Tyre can be put back on.
