Rotor BB30 Converter

Ideal for going from BB30 to a 24mm axle and thus getting rid of the typical creaking. After a few months of use already noticed that the bearings are not really top notch. Next time anyway go for another adapter. ( hence the 2 stars)

Assembly does require the right tools, otherwise this is relatively simple. Bearings turn smoothly. As BB30 is no longer common on road bikes (I have not been able to find a replacement), it is easier to use this converter and fit a 24mm HT2.

Easy to fit. Great quality bearings. Loads better than a shimano B.B. with adapters.

Had a kcnc adapter, this rotor adapter is some much smoother , seems well built , let's see if bearings last longer , great service from mantel and good packaging

Care is needed to ensure the plastic covers protecting the bearings does not come off when pushing the crank axle through the bottom bracket. I've had to buy two of these BBs, because when fitting the first one a plastic cover came off and when re-fitting it it crumpled. I've taken a cover off the second BB to replace the crumpled one. The low rating is due to the problems with installation. (I've installed many BB and I am a competent mechanic and this has been the first I've had to buy a second BB for spares.) Operationally it's a great BB and runs smooth.

Nicely made item just need to see how long the bearings last!

Well engineered, straightforward to fit and robust. Tried the KCNC bb prior to this but the flimsy red plastic shims cracked and were rendered useless. The Rotor is a superior product and well recommended if you have a Shimano chainset but a BB30 frameset.

Be careful when fitting, i broke one of the plastic end bearing covers and replacements are not available.

This has to be the best adapter for bb30 bottom bracket to 24mm no more creaking, had to change bb30's every year, once fitted you can regrease and maintain for a lot longer and cheaper to replace than bb30 when needed, would recommend highly
