Really good tool, indispensable for fitting cleats in the right position. It can be used by following the instructions for applying cleats from scratch, or as in my case to apply the cleats to a pair of new shoes. By taking measurements with the old shoes and marking reference points on the tool, I was able to fit the cleats on the new shoes in the same perfect position as on the old ones. Really recommended product!

Super handy tool to position your cleats and perform regular checks. Oh so important is a perfect adjustment to protect your precious knee and ankle joints to prevent injuries.

Still, the thought of fitting cleats without fuss persuaded me to try this tool. After fitting cleats to new shoes, my conclusion is that it adds little value for me. Because you work with stickers and the shoe in the mould is slightly different each time, it is too imprecise. As usual, fine-tuning is needed after the first fitting. When replacing worn-out cleats, painter's tape works better for me. If you still have no idea what position works for you, you can easily find a basic position with this tool.

Works fine to place the plates identically on the shoes but after fitting, they often still need to be adjusted individually per shoe. Marking can be done for new shoes but if this is a different brand/model then the previously made marking no longer applies.
