It's recommended to take this gel with a few sips of water.Recommended dosage: Exhausting carbohydrate supplies during exercise is one of the main causes of fatigue. Replenishing carbohydrates before and during exercise can improve your (cycling) performance. If the exertion lasts more than 90 minutes, it's recommended to consume extra carbohydrates. It's advised to consume around one energy gel an hour, or to consume an energy gel in combination with other sports nutrition to a maximum intake of 60 grams of carbohydrates an hour. A common strategy is to consume energy gels during the more intense phases of exercise. The digestion process of energy gels requires less intense circulation compared to other sports nutrition.
Warning: A dietary supplement is not a substitute for a varied diet. In addition to physical activity, it is important to follow a varied and balanced diet and lead a healthy lifestyle. Do not exceed the recommended dosage. If you are on a special diet or on medication, it is always safe to ask your doctor for advice.
