Frequently asked questions

How do I ensure the accuracy of the BTL-73?
It is important to put the BTL-73 torque spanner back in its initial position after use. This will prevent the torque from becoming less accurate over time. Should this happen in the long run, the torque wrench can be recalibrated. Please contact BBB to do so.

How do I know how much Nm I have to tighten a component?
In most cases it is written on the component, like on most seat and handlebar posts. If it is not written on the component, ask the manufacturer for the correct torque.

The leaflet announces a click that never comes, it's actually the head-grip joint that marks a very clear notch.
