Il gel Etixx Isotonic Energy presenta una combinazione di zucchero a tripla azione, con l'aggiunta di una miscela di citrati. Questo mix di zucchero unico è composto da una ideale combinazione di monosaccaridi, disaccaridi e saccaridi superiori (polisaccaridi). Poiché queste catene differiscono in lunghezza, questi zuccheri vengono assimilati dall'organismo in maniera graduale. In questo modo hai un effetto immediato, ma al contempo l'energia extra va ad accumularsi nelle riserve. l citrati sono una sorta di sali. Questi assicurano che l'idratazione resti a un livello ottimale durante l'esercizio fisico, se combinato con un apporto abbondante di acqua. ll gel è isotonico se dissolto in 350 ml di acqua.

Preferred use: Etixx Isotonic Energy Gel is suitable for all athletes who need a quick fuel replenishment during prolonged efforts. Cyclists, triathletes, marathon runners ... Use this gel immediately before or during their endurance efforts. The gel also contains extra electrolytes and citrates, which makes it ideal in hot weather and for athletes who perspire heavily. Team athletes may also benefit from it during rest. It is recommended to drink sufficient water during exercise (at least 350ml to 700ml per hour) to avoid dehydration.

Recommended dose: Depleting carbohydrate stores during exercise is one of the main causes of fatigue. Carbohydrate supplementation before and during the effort can improve the (cycling) performance. If the effort lasts longer than 90 minutes, it is recommended to consume extra carbohydrates. It is recommended to consume approximately 1 to 2 energy gels per hour. Or, consume energy gels in combination with other sports nutrition products until an intake of 60 grams of carbohydrates per hour is reached. A common strategy is to consume energy gels during the more intense phases of exercise. The digestion process of energy gels requires less blood flow compared to other sports nutrition products.
