Description

If you don't have a regular stem but a so-called A-head system, and if using a front-mounted child seat is difficult, Yepp has a solution: the Ahead adapter. This easily attachable adapter allows you to mount a Yepp Mini seat to bikes fitted with an A-head stem. This way, you can enjoy many carefree miles with your child. Please note that if you use the Yepp Ahead adapter, it's not possible to fit a Yepp windscreen.

Hefty and strong adapter

Very hefty and strong ahead adapter, feels more sturdy than the standard adapter. However the overall seat came to be a bit bigger than I thought it would be so I had to get a raised stem to get the handlebar further up. Unfortunately it won't work with a raised stem, so I had to return it

Good if not for the bike

This fitted my bike but as I am only 5'4 I was unable to reach the handlebars without the seat digging into my chest. The adapter makes the seat sit about 2cm back from where it would with the regular adapter. The angle of the seat is also determined by the angle of your stem and ahead bars set up.

Hefty and strong adapter
