Because of the hassle with the spout, I went back to using my old water bottle after 2 rides.
The water bottle is inexpensive. But after drinking, the spout closes too easily, preventing air from getting back into the water bottle. The spout must then be pulled open again with teeth or hand to let air back into the water bottle. This takes time and effort and is a waste.
