This Stages XT M8100 Left Powermeter is light, reliable, accurate and easy to use. You can make your training more focussed with a power meter, even more so if you use the Stages Link training program. This power meter fits perfectly with the crankset of the Shimano XT M8100.

High accuracy, stable signal
This third generation Stages power meter measures power very accurately (±1.5% deviation) from the left crank arm. The signal of this 3rd generation Stages power meter is six times stronger than its predecessor. In practice, this produces very few disturbances and gives you a reliable power reading to train with.

The Stages XT M8100 fits perfectly into the Stages Performance Ecosystem combined with the Stages Link software and the Stages Dash bike computer. Here you get training schedules and all your rides are tracked, so you can improve your performance as efficiently as possible.

Low weight
The measurement sensor is mounted on the crank arm and is small and light. The crank arm is therefore only 20 grams heavier compared to the standard arm. So going uphill will cost you fewer Watts!
The energy is provided by a CR2032 battery with a lifespan of about 175 hours. So you can get enough training hours in with that!

Can be used with almost all cycling computers
The data transfer takes place via ANT+ or Bluetooth Smart technology, which means that almost all cycling computers can be connected. Firmware upgrades can also easily be done wirelessly from your phone. The cadence is measured wirelessly and without additional sensors, by means of the internal accelerometer.

3rd generation, extra waterproof
This third generation Stages power meter has a high water resistance rating of IPX7. This means that this power meter can withstand extreme weather conditions. With this power meter you can not only cycle on the road, but also cyclocross and gravel!

Mounting the Stages power meter
The mounting of the Shimano Stages Powermeters is quite easy. You only need a torque wrench and the Shimano Crank Wrench TL-FC16 / FC-M960.
Note:
Check if the power meter is compatible with your frame.
You can do this by inserting an Allen key 10 between your current crank arm and your frame, as shown in the picture. If this fits everywhere, then this Stages power meter will fit too!
