Description
The Shimano Dura-Ace RT-900 is the best brake disc Shimano has developed for road bikes. The disc is light, has improved heat dissipation and higher braking power. The unique design also makes your bike loads cooler!
Improved heat dissipation, higher braking power
This brake disc has been developed with Shimano's Ice-Technology. As you can see in the picture, this technique means that the brake disc consists of several layers of metal. Both outer sides are made of stainless steel, while the inside is made of aluminium. This allows heat to be dissipated more quickly, so you can retain braking power, even on long descents. This heat dissipation is further improved by the cooling fins placed in the centre of the disc.
The stainless steel outside of this disc also has the advantage that you can ride with harder brake pads. Harder, (semi-) metallic brake pads can withstand heat better than softer pads and are more durable. However, the braking power of these pads is less in return.
Low weight, easy assembly
This brake disc has a low weight, so you won't be lugging extra weight around. The centerlock mounting is easy and fast, so you can get back on the road quickly!

Great looking rotors

Was running ultegra but have dura ace shifters, chainset and other bits. Because I’m a tart had to complete the look! They look amazing and work as expected
