quality is commensurate with price

- Joeri, 15 May, 2022

This is now my 3rd Tickr. Unfortunately, this is the prime example of Consumer electronic: the lifespan is set just after the 2-year warranty. (Electronics are no longer waterproof after replacing the battery several times; it gets wet from sweat, and you probably get corrosion; also the buttons that connect the band to the device are worn out after 2 years and sometimes break off). Still, I buy these again and again because I am molded to be a consumer: there are no durable alternatives available. The heart rate monitor connects without problems to Suunto sports watch and Garmin edge cycling computer. However, many bluetooth devices together seem to disturb the connection (heart rate monitor connected to Garmin edge, Garmin edge connected to cell phone, and wireless earphones connected to cell phone; with all these connections together, the heart rate monitor sometimes seemed to drop out on the bike computer).

Comfortable accurate heart rate monitor but with lesser longevity

- Bavo, 2 April, 2022

Nice and comfortable heart rate monitor. Values are always correct. Has handy LED lights that indicate for the first 30sec whether the device is on or not, that way in case of any connection problems with your bike computer you know if it's because of the bike computer or the heart rate monitor. Would have expected more longevity for a product from Wahoo though. Was only able to use it for 10,000 kilometers, after this the heart rate monitor did not turn on even with new batteries. If you cycle a lot maybe look for something else.
