This thing rocks, literally. I've just switched from Bushido wheel-on and it's been day and night. A world of difference. Truly impressive performance. Don't mind it be a bit chunky. It's brilliant.

Little target power variability in ERG mode
No calibration
Quiet operation
Rock-solid build
Second to none road feel
Heavy
No thru axle adapters in the box!

Love the tacx neo it's quite easy to set up and has a great road feel only trainer I've enjoyed getting out of the saddle sprinting on as there is a bit of side to side sway and no slippage even under high wattage also it's the best trainer for zwift

Pros & Cons

easy set up
good road feel even out of the saddle efforts
perfect for zwift
quite
very stable
expensive
heavy and not very portable
not totally silent but quitest on the market
tacx software doesnt come with the trainer

Super bit of kit

- Eamonn, 2 November, 2017

Very happy with neo the wife wasn't convinced at the price and especially as the previous "dumb" turbo trainer only got the very rare use,we both use the neo on most days now making the neo well worth the price,it is just so smooth an realistic feel just takes the slog out of indoor training

Pros & Cons

A gorrilla would have trouble to max it out
Just a nice ride experience
Looks amazing
No calibration
Quite for a turbo trainer
The price but no excuse now not to go for a spin
User manual is sparse

Great trainer if you get one without a problem

- Adrian, 9 March, 2017

This is the second one I have bought and both have made a noise like two dishes rubbing together. I am now waiting for a replacement direct from Tacx which I hope won't make this noise. Ignoring the noise it is a great trainer to use on Zwift. It even vibrates the chain when going over 'cobbles or wood planks' to give a realistic Road feel. I am looking forward to my replacement and it's just such a pity that Tacx don't quality control their products better

Pros & Cons

Fun to use with Zwift
Quiet
Road feel
Poor quality control at Tacx

Reinventing training

- Andrew, 30 January, 2017

Smart trainer indoors makes life so simple to jump on and get the core workouts done with minimal hassle. The Neo is stable and simple to use. Noise is low and no need to carry out any calibrations. It's the top banana!!

Pros & Cons

Low noise
No calibration
Powered downhill
Stable
Will power itself
Maybe cost is negative only if you don't use it
