A good choice as a winter tire
The rr remains a tire that scores high in many conditions, only in lots of mud does it fall just a little short. It is fast, quiet and does what it needs to do. For me the perfect front tire for the winter season!

Very good tyre for hard XC or wet terrain.
Very good tyre for hard XC or wet terrain. Slightly less grip than the Nobby Nic, which has become too heavy for XC, but much lighter and much more efficient. I was a fan of the old Nobby Nic, and this is a very good replacement.

Super tyre ! Both quality and handling
Super! Tyre ! Ordered yesterday 24 October! After 7 hours the same day shipping! The tyre is easy to put on the rim so it's relatively quicker than the rocket ron addix so that's a big plus point! Sufficient grip! In the corners

Good all-round tyre for all seasons!
Medium-thick studs with plenty of space between them for self-cleaning. Yet the pattern is such that it rolls fine on tarmac too. A fine tyre that can take a beating, which is very nice for jumping and bowl turns.

rocket ron fullfill its promises. Tire selection is the key
Moving from Nobby nick V2 at rear this is a game changer for the rolling resistance. More suitable for XC riders which is more frequent in NL, however a small run in Luxemburg on a more demanding trail, this tire slips more especially in descent control, so watch out it is surprising. Just tried in muddy conditions on an XC trail and it is behaving quite well. Just need a bit more km to get a full idea. Finally the schwalbe brand is my go to for years with reliable quality and durability.
